Abstract

 The movement of students took off in the 20th Century, continuing to the present time, mainly in the university level, motivated always by protests against the university system as well as the government system and other occasions, as a way to support claims of other sectors of the society, having faced in most cases, the repudiation of the Government that has relied the arguments of the protesters holding ideals of the left, socialists and communists. In the present document we will make a reference of the student movement in Mexico,  particularly in the one of 1968, with the aim to analyze its transcendence that this university revolt, highlighting the reaction of repression  that took place by the Mexican government to end it.
